AT Materials

Product Overview

The AT material we developed improves upon the problems of existing synthetic resins and various plastics. Developed using high-hardness aramid and Teflon (PTFE) with excellent release properties, it boasts superior heat resistance, chemical resistance, and release properties compared to currently used materials like NPP, TPE (thermolyne), and PVDF.

Product Features

  • High-strength material based on composite polymer: Composed of high-hardness Aramid + PTFE (Teflon) composite material, it has superior mechanical properties compared to general PP, PEEK, PVDF, and PTFE.
  • Excellent heat and chemical resistance: High temperature stability up to 198℃, usable without change in shape even in strong acid/base environments.
  • Excellent wear resistance: Less wear even in friction and repeated use environments, so shape and function are maintained stably even after long-term use.
  • Secure electrical insulation and surface resistance: Surface resistivity is 1013~1015 Ω/□, allowing stable response even in electrostatic discharge (ESD) environments.

product advantages

  • Overall superior properties compared to existing materials: Overall superior heat resistance, chemical resistance, and wear resistance compared to existing materials (PP, PVDF, NPP, etc.), and multi-functionality is possible with a single material, increasing the lifespan of parts and reducing the replacement cycle.
  • Excellent chemical resistance: No change in appearance/performance even when exposed to high temperatures and chemicals (sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid, nitric acid, etc.)
  • Excellent mechanical processability and shape stability: Maintains without damage even after cutting and processing, and can be used as a stable structure in environments requiring precision parts.
  • Securing versatility and design freedom: The AT-200~515 series offers a wide range of products from light to high strength, allowing you to choose the material that best suits your usage environment.

Examples of application by material

Tray

Problems before improvement

  • Existing trays are made of PC or ABS, and sticky substances are difficult to completely remove from the tray surface, leading to quality and productivity issues.

Expected effects after improvement

  • Using AT (Aramid+Teflon) material, it is resistant to sticky substances and has excellent adhesive power, maximizing quality and productivity.

AT ROLL

Problems before improvement

  • Conventional NPP materials are susceptible to corrosion by chemicals, such as copper precipitation or sticky floating substances, which can cause substrate imprinting or foreign matter defects. Imprinting occurs due to low strength.

Expected effects after improvement

  • Made with AT (Aramid + Teflon) material, it offers excellent heat resistance (260°C), chemical resistance, surface friction, and hardness (75A to 90A).

Wet Disk Wheel Roll

Problems before improvement

  • PP material - Corrosion may occur with prolonged use, and slipping may occur during product transport. Thermolan - Corrosion may occur with prolonged use, and sticky foreign matter on the surface may be difficult to remove.

Expected effects after improvement

  • VAC material – excellent chemical and heat resistance, no corrosion even after long-term use, no damage to the substrate due to foreign matter generation or slipping, and no warping.

Conveyor roller for transporting logistics baskets

Problems before improvement

  • Acetal material – Low hardness leads to dents and foreign matter. STS material – Low transport volume and high costs due to slimming.

Expected effects after improvement

  • AT material – excellent strength, conductivity, and no foreign matter adhesion
No slipping, no foreign matter formation due to corrosion
